If you ever visit the Musee des beaux-arts in Chartres, France, you just can't miss an aketon of Charles VI of France – a rare surviving example of fabric armor from the late XIVth century. We couldn't miss it either. So, being unable to resist we sewed this gorgeous aketon for you. As the saying goes: no need to pray, it's okay, you're welcome. It completely replicates the original except for the clasp. We decided to move away from the endless little buttons and chose leather straps with buckles as the clasp. They look cooler.
