Smallsword Olympic is a lighter and more comfortable successor of a Renaissance rapier. Originally, it comes from the XVII century France and rapidly gains favor all over Europe. It’s mostly due to the fact, that it could be used as a military, casual, and duel weapon – a practical item to own. However, times change as well as the smallsword – it transformed into french dueling sword only to become later a basis for an Olympic epee.

We understand that our customers want to use their smallsword for various purposes – training, fighting, reenacting at the festivals, or even for design purposes. Therefore, we offer training and musketeer blades. Training one is of an Olympic epee – cheaper, lighter, more flexible. It’s totally your case if you’re a beginner. Musketeer one is more expensive, heavier, and stiffer. But it’s also more historical.
