It has seven plates constructed to follow the foot shape. The heel plate is articulated and hinged on the inner side, while it fastens with a strap on the outer side. Plate legs of the XIV-XV centuries, a part of Churburg style armor (Knee and thigh) Based on historical sources from Churburg Castle, our blacksmiths have reconstructed 14-15 cent legs armor.  Kneecaps are supplied with a rondel, which covers outer side of knee.  The thigh and knee are constructed as one piece without a transition detail.  The leather fasteners with buckles are placed in a way to tightly fit around the leg without restricting its mobility.
