Decorated finger gauntlets are a type of medieval hand protection, which was popular and essential element of knight battle outfit in the XV century, and gauntlets are the part of German Gothic armor kit. This steel protection has such typical features of Gothic armor, as elongated wrist with reinforcement ribs, articulated fingers and extra plate, which covers knuckles.  Small steel scales are riveted to the firm leather base – such design makes fingers’ movements comfortable and easy. Half-greaves of the XIV-XVI centuries are the popular shin guard among medieval soldiers – as mounted, so dismounted. In combination with cuisses (thigh armor) and kneecaps, these greaves created full leg defense, comfortable and good protecting at the same time. These plate greaves protect the front part of calf, though backside is left uncovered.
