Descripción

This cuirass, delighting your eye, is a replica of cuirass of Cumberland armor, made in Greenwich workshops (England) in the 1590-1592 years. Its design is definitely borrowed from Italian armor school that is typical for body protection in medieval combat armor at British knights of the late XVI century.

Our artisans made it of cold-rolled steel. It has low tapul and wide border, which replace lower hem. Tassets are consisted of three horizontal straps and hung to the edge of border with four hinges. Sides and lower edge of tassets, armholes, neckline and bottom hem of cuirass are canted and decorated with inlay. Cuirass has leather belts with buckles for fastening.

This comfortable and reliable cuirass of simple design is a part of Armor Garniture of George Clifford, Third Earl of Cumberland. And, there is the very actual medieval armor of the end of the XVI century and real gem of Greenwich workshop.

Luxurious was not a vice in Tudor times. So, this battle cuirass is covered with superb ornament of grape wines curves, lilies and Tudor roses. Cumberland armor with this ornament is a real masterpiece of Greenwich workshop. If it is not good enough for you, so you order your own pattern and types of decoration.
